September 17 – 19, 2010 .  Meet Joe Barnett, Jr!  Joe has participated in every Shrimp & Grits Festival Cooking Competition since the festival began five years ago.  He has won many awards and recently those awards landed him on Food Network’s Throwndown With Bobby Flay.  He took on Bobby Flay for best shrimp & grits and won!  He will be hosting a cooking demonstration on Sunday noon.  Hello Again! 

Dear Friends, Many of you may have heard that Mike and I are back at the Fitzpatrick Hotel! Although it has been over three years since we last operated the hotel, in many ways, it feels like we have been gone no time at all. We have really been overwhelmed with the welcome that we have received and look forward to reconnecting with our friends.  

We are now receiving guests every Friday and Saturday night. Normally we will be closed on Sunday through Thursday nights, but will be happy to open up for guests reserving rooms in blocks of three or more rooms. We will also open mid-week for any special events. 
 
SUMMER SPECTATULAR  EVENTS! To celebrate the sumer, we are offering a spectacular rate every weekend in Jul and August of $75.00 for the rear facing rooms, $99.00 for rooms that face the square and $125 for our fabulous suites. 
 
Retreats and Meetings at the Fitzpatrick  The Fitzpatrick is a great place for corporate or church retreats and off-site meetings and events. Please keep us in mind when planning your next event. Group and corporate packages are available at great rates!

December 10-11 –Christmas Dinner and Holiday Tour.
