September 17 – 19, 2010 . Meet Joe Barnett, Jr! Joe has participated in every Shrimp & Grits Festival Cooking Competition since the festival began five years ago. He has won many awards and recently those awards landed him on Food Network’s Throwndown With Bobby Flay. He took on Bobby Flay for best shrimp & grits and won! He will be hosting a cooking demonstration on Sunday noon.
