Our Mission is to preserve the historical and cultural legacy of Cherry Grove Schoolhouse by sharing its importance in the educational evolution of African-American children not only to Washington Wilkes County and the surrounding areas but beyond. This is to be done through the public education system and the state and local Tourism industry as well.
