This exhibit will feature original examples of Civil War era women's, men's and children's underclothing as well as women's wrappers and men's dressing gowns. "At Home" accessories such as women's day and night caps, men's smoking caps and house slippers will also be on display. Original underclothing on display will comprise all of the various layers of underclothing. A fine dress and men's suit will be displayed as well.
The clothing artifacts are from a private collection presented by PNJW Collections of Apharetta, GA. The collection dates from the 1840s to the 1870s, with most being in the 1850s-1860s years.
The exhibit runs from February 4th through April 4th, Tuesday through Saturday, 10-5Tell a Friend
