Description
The Washington-Wilkes Annual Christmas Parade of Lights lets us know Christmas is not far away. Now in its 7th year, this fun and festive event has become a much-looked-forward-to part of our town’s holiday celebration.
The parade will begin its journey onto Robert Toombs Avenue from South Pecan Street around 6 PM. From there, it will travel through the Downtown, past The Square and ending at the Pope Center on Lexington Avenue.
In case of inclement weather a judgment call will be made to reschedule and relayed to local TV, radio stations and social media 3 hours prior.
To participate in the parade, you can download a Parade Application or stop by the Chamber of Commerce at 22B West Square.
