    From Visitor Center, exit The Square and turn right at signal onto W. Robert Toombs Ave. 

    Turn left onto Hwy 44 (at Golden Pantry).  Go approx 9 miles and watch for historical marker 
    on right.  

    Turn right onto Stoney Ridge Rd (68) 

    Then left onto Court Ground Rd (22)
    to War Hill Rd on left.

    WHAT:  Park Day volunteer event at Kettle Creek Battlefield 

    OBJECTIVE:     Clear existing trails of trash, leaves, and weeds
    WHEN:            Saturday, March 30, 2019, beginning at 10:00 AM
    WHERE:           Kettle Creek Battlefield, Wilkes County, GA

    The Kettle Creek Battlefield Association is proud to partner with the Civil War Trust & Campaign 1776 in its annual Park Day 2019 celebration. This is the 23nd year that the Civil War Trust & Campaign 1776 has sponsored this national effort to promote appreciation of hallowed battlefields through active participation of patriot volunteers. This year, the Civil War Trust & Campaign 1776, in partnership with the Kettle Creek Battlefield Association, is offering the community the opportunity to participate in Park Day 2019, at the Kettle Creek Battlefield in Wilkes County, GA.  a volunteer effort to care for the historic place

     
     
    BRING: Gloves, rakes, clippers, leaf blowers and trash bags.
    LUNCH: Bring a box lunch, and water will be provided.
